Shared Ownership: The Key to Affordable Homeownership

The key to this is shared ownership. This Government -funded scheme means the buyer purchases a share of equity in their home, from 25% to 75%, and pays a subsidised rent to Hyde New Homes for the remaining share. It also requires a much lower deposit than purchasing outright, making that dream home much more affordable.

There is always the opportunity to keep increasing the share in your home through a process known as staircasing.
